U12s East Kent Tournament

Deal & Betteshanger U12s hosted this years East Kent Tournament at home. They were drawn to play against Folkestone, Ashford, Ash and Sheppey. The home team played a tight match against the eventual tournament winners, Folkestone, losing 1-0. They played Ashford next and beat them 2-1. Ash (combined with Thanet) played next, drawing 0-0. Finally the home side played their last match in the East Kent Tournament against Sheppey, winning 1-0. Tournament try scorers were Archie English, George Winham and George Gosse.

Players in the squad were; Archie English, Bailey Newing, Blane Harrington, Cornelius Weir, Gary Fisher, George Gosse, George Winham, Harley Moon, Jack Morgan, Jay Jarman-Chantler, Luke Settle, Lewis Allsopp, Mason Miller, Mitchell Jones and Riley Todd.

The day was a roaring success with lots of money raised for the Junior section of the club. The organisers would like to thank all of the volunteers who help make the day the success it was.
