A hard fought draw in difficult conditions

The conditions this Sunday were very difficult, it was very cold, the pitch was more bog then field and it was very, very wet.

Whitstable ran several training session which the boys got involved in and really enjoyed. They learnt some new routines and enjoyed what was being taught.

We then went into a match, as stated earlier the pitch was very close to being unplayable. As the boys struggled to warm up and get moving they quickly found themselves 3 nil down.
However, these boys don't like loosing, so, they sorted out their line, start making their tackles count and began making in roads to the Whitstable half.
Nathan P, scored our first try which came from the ball being passed quickly out of contact from Will P to our new boy Jimmy who then set up Nathan for his clear run to the Line.
Nathan P then scored our second try, being set up from the other side this time by the quick hands of Finley W, Finley T and Lucas D.
Our Third try was scored by Will P. This came from a brilliant defensive tackle by Ashton M, who also bundled his player into touch. A quick pass out through the hands of Finley T, Nathan P and Lucas D then saw Will P make a great run through the Whitstable line.
If there had been a few more minutes on the clock I think our boys could have gone for the win, as it was, a draw was a fair result between two very closely matched teams.
