Deal and Betteshanger u8s hosted the Kent minis 40th anniversary festival today.

The young lions were thrown straight into the frying pan against a keen Canterbury side who had clearly been working on their handing off skills in preparation for next seasons full contact. Loosing the battle but not giving up on the war the lions kicked their wounds and gave everything they had going into their next 3 matches and walking away with 3 straight wins. The weather never let up and neither did the spirit of this young team. It was a great day had by all.
