The Saracens Rugby Camp Programme is aimed at U7 – U14 boys and girls playing age-grades and provides organised, educational, inclusive and structured activities, utilising our experienced, qualified and award winning coaches from the Saracens Rugby Development team.

Four core values that have built the incredibly successful Saracens team we see today. Fresh for 2019, Saracens will be introducing a new delivery structure to the Camps Programme which puts these core values at the heart of all our courses.

Saracens place great emphasis on developing people both on and off the pitch at every level; and our core values are the driving force. Better people. Better players.

Coaches will pass on expert advice and professional tips, creating a fun and enjoyable environment in which participants will work closely in groups of the same/similar age covering a host of skills. Individuals can expect to cover content specific to their age group as well as developing core fundamentals. Our experienced and adaptable coaching staff allow access for all rugby abilities from novice to expert. Our grouping structure welcomes young tag players and also offers older players a tailored, age-specific experience.

Throughout their time with Saracens, participants will cover the following course content:

Fundamental catch and pass skills
Go-forward and support in attack
Preparation for Contact Activities
Strength, Agility, Balance and Coordination Games
Defensive Connectivity
Beating Defenders

All camps will use adaptive Game Play throughout the sessions

All sessions will involve gradual progression of techniques and skills over the length of the camp.

Please note: In accordance with RFU Regulation 15: Age Grade Rugby, there will be a focus on non-contact elements in this course. We will be utilising this opportunity to look toward body positioning and preparation-for-contact activities and then onto their wider role within game structure.

On each course, lunch break will be for one hour between 12:00 – 13:00.
