"I have lived in Deal for 40 years and recently retired from working for Local Government. My role across East Kent included setting up and Managing the Fraud Investigation Team, then managing the collection and processing of all council tax, business rates and sundry income, ensuring collection of taxes met the performance targets. Prior to that I ran a successful pub with my husband in Kingsdown. I am currently employed part time by Kent County Council as a Registrar and Celebrant in the Dover / Deal area managing and officiating wedding ceremonies.

I have been married for 40 years, raised a family in Deal and look forward to joining the Deal & Betteshanger RFC family"

The board would like to take this opportunity in giving huge thanks to Karen Rice for her devotion to the role of Finance Director amongst other countless jobs behind the scenes for numerous years . We are very pleased that she will continue to support the directors in the role of Data Manager as part of the senior management team.
