Under 8's travelled to Whitstable RFC on Sunday 7th February to play against the hosts and Ash RFC.
The first game was a great start for the Lions playing Whitstable's a-team, with Matthew May arriving to join his team, the side played some fantastic rugby, the game finished 3-2 to Deal and Betteshanger. Second up, Ash RFC played against the Lions, with a flying run and excellent try from Lewis Allsopp. Further tries were scored by George Winham, Ben Mitchell, Blaine Harrington, George Gosse and Archie English. The Lions then went on to finish off the day with a win against Whistable's b-team.
