Started playing For Deal Wanderers RFC in 1992 when I was 19 (Bit of a late starter!!). I was recruited by Dave Rose Jnr during a Saturday Night whilst in the Clarendon Hotel. I think he thought there's definitely 2nd row potential. Little did he know I was not good at jumping and had a fear of heights!!! Back in those days the club was located in Western Road. I played for a few seasons but then took up Taekwondo and moved to Ashford in 1999.In my Heart rugby was always going to win over any other other sport and thus joined Ashford RFC in 1999. Moved back to Deal in 2003 and rejoined Deal Wanderers who had then moved to the current location in Canada Road.
Continued to play for Wandereres and then joined Deal and Betteshanger Lions when Wanderers and Betteshanger amalgamated. Still play when i can for the 3rd's and this season i have become a director of the club
