Kent selectors had selected 23 players from the East Kent district to play in a festival against West and Metropolitan districts and the current Kent team. Lions U15's Jack Morgan, George Gosse and George Winham were selected in the East Kent team. All three gave a good account of themselves.

Jack and George Winham have both been selected for Kent tier 2 (Kent team). George Gosse has been selected for Kent tier 1 (which is the old East Kent district team) but he is on the Kent radar.
